attention deficit/ hyperactivity
Impulsive, pre-emptive or incomplete responses marked by fragmented, quick or unfiltered speech. Often, those with this condition have trouble getting organized, pacing themselves in a pragmatic way. They may be fidgety, overly-chatty, have limited short-term memory or lack of focus on details not associated with areas of interest.
There are 3 main types of ADHD: predominantly inattentive, predominantly hyperactive/impulsive, or a combination of the two.
