Share decision rationales
The act of sharing the opinions or logic that fuels managerial decisions is highly recommended when working with highly-capable, technical staff. The more you share, the more expertly others can execute in your absence, and the faster your creative thinkers apply this logic to similar circumstances and priorities.
As pattern savants, and highly astute observers, those with autism may immediately envision an end state without the limits of social convention or business politics. They can be quite insightful about strategy because the goal is more often to solve a problem, not to get recognition.
Individuals who are less interested in social capital may identify blindspots before you do, so be open to their feedback as it is provided with your best interest at heart. These contributors may voice dissent, or ethical concerns beyond the scope of your involvement as a way to improve the entire organization, not to be difficult.
